This repetition style song is a very moving piece. The consonance is starts at the end of one line then continues in to the next by being the same sound as the first word in the next line. There are also a few examples of assonance. “Another one who believes, another one to deceive, over and over down on my knees.” The ‘ee’ sound is repeated, making it assonance.
This song connects to my theme because it describes the pain and agony of someone who appears to have gone through heart ache. This also seems like it was a very long and emotion relationship, making it more tragic when the end came about.

This is a very deep and poetic song. It appears to be about a night that is spent driving a young lady home from a party and they both are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Then it begins to compare the experience and what it feels like to him. Almost like he’s been through it all before.

the title of this song its self can be looked at as a metaphor. the line "i can feel you all around me" is a great because it insinuates that no matter the distance there that will always be there in their thoughts and heart. whether or not the other person feels that same way is up for debate.
